On behalf of Jane’s Crazy Walk, we would like to thank everyone that came out on Saturday November 4 to participate in the third annual, “Jane’s Crazy Walk”. We had a wonderful turnout again this year with many people coming out to the American Legion to enjoy some games and food.
We would especially like to thank all the volunteers that helped us not only set everything up but to stay the entire time and clean up the event too. To all the people that made personal donations to the event, we would like to sincerely thank you as well. We would also like to express our gratitude to those that participated in the walk or made contributions to the event activities. We are blessed that our community can come together for such a meaningful event.
To all the area businesses and organizations that played a part in the event and fundraising activities, we would like to give you all a shout out. Please check our FB page to see everyone that contributed, facebook.com/janescrazywalk. We appreciate your generous contributions.
Every year we have increased our goal and have continuously exceeded those goals. This year was no exception. Our goal was to gift the ADA with $7,500. Coming together as a community paid off. As a close to the event, we would like to announce that our event raised $8,036.69, which will be donated directly to the American Diabetes Association. This brings our grand total, after three years, to $20,343.07 raised for the ADA. This donation will help the 29 million people who live with diabetes. This money will go to research, information and advocacy and public awareness activities.
Thanks to everyone again for a successful event! Please have a safe and wonderful Holiday Season!!! 🙂
