    On Tuesday, the Continental High School Volleyball team traveled to the greater Hamler area to take on Patrick Henry in a non-league battle. Things started great for the Pirates as they edged the Patriots in the first game 25-23. The next two games saw the Patriots gain the advantage 25-17 and 25-21. In the fourth games the Pirates prevailed 25-20 to force a deciding game 5. Patriots took the 5th game and the match 15-6.     In 2016 the Continental Boys Soccer team were the Putnam County League Champs, advanced to the Districts, had the PCL Player (Dean Krendl) and Coach of the Year along with 3 other PCL first teamers (Trevor Williamson, Jacob Williams, and Christian Keller). Gone from that championship team are Williamson, Williams, and Krendl but Coach Stegbauer and Keller return.     2016 saw the Continental High School move from a rare losing season to a Putnam County League Championship, a District Runner-up, and a 14-5 record. The Pirates move on to 2017 having to replace 3 First Team PCL members (Ashley Mansfield, Jaylen Armey, and Paige Lawhorn) and a Second Team member (Blair Tegenkamp).     Parents may continue to set a schedule of pickup and drop-off locations as they have in the past. Parents will have the ability to change this master schedule one time throughout the year.
