Barnhart Announces Decision to Seek Appointment to Vacant 81st House District Seat

Leipsic, OH – The following statement can be attributed to Justin Barnhart:

“After much thoughtful consideration and consultation with my family, I have decided to put my name forward for consideration to fill the vacant 81st Ohio House District seat. Our district has been well served by the leadership of State Representative Rob McColley, and I offer him my best wishes for success as he moves on to represent our community in the Ohio Senate.”

“As a native of Putnam County, I am blessed to have been brought up with conservative values centered on faith, family and community service. As a lifelong Republican, I am committed to protecting the unborn, preserving the Second Amendment and creating economic opportunities that bring good-paying jobs to Northwest Ohio.”

“Having served as Village Administrator of Leipsic and as a legislative aide at the Ohio Statehouse, I have learned a great deal about agriculture, economic development and the other critical drivers that move our community forward. I believe my experience provides me with a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities that face the people of the 81st House District.”
